A Florida high school senior may be eligible if they have a parent or grandparent who is a Retired, Veteran, Active Duty, National Guard, or Reserve Officer, or a Former Officer of the U.S. Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, Coast Guard, Public Health Service, or National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration—and who meets specific rank requirements.
Additionally, Florida high school JROTC cadets with at least three years of participation may also qualify.
They must meet the following criteria:
- Intentions to attend a College or University.
- Has a minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Demonstrates superior leadership skills in school and/or community activities.
- Possesses moral and character attributes worthy of scholarship candidates.
